After many weeks of snow, it was great to have a warm, sunny day to get my filthy car to the car wash. As I waited in line, I watched the truck in front of me go from grimy gray to shiny silver. As my car was getting sudsy and clean on the outside, I started to notice how dirty the inside looked. This is similar to our personal life. We may be struggling with something we don’t want others to see, but continue to do all kinds of things to look good on the outside: nice clothes, nice car, the right words, or a fake smile at the right time.
